KURILPA BRIDGE
Whilst only being open for a handful of years, the design of this bridge has quickly made it into an icon of Brisbane.
Soil Surveys were engaged to drill a number of holes both on the banks of the river and off a barge within the river. Over 360m of drilling was undertaken in nine boreholes, with 40% of the total length recovered as rock core.
This is just one of the many bridges large and small that Soil Surveys have been involved in.
