Project Details

HOPE ISLAND/SANCTUARY COVE This project had it all from deep marine clay through fissured clay to deep excavation in weathered rock. Soil Surveys were there from day one in 1984 and continue to provide geotechnical assessments today. The site was over 1200ha in area and included some difficult investigation conditions requiring deep drilling, drilling off barges and extensive geotechnical laboratory testing to assess the stability of the proposed canals as well as the settlement characteristics of the soft clay soils. We are proud to say there has been no issues on that front under Soil Surveys watch.
Soil Surveys- The Foundation of a Successful Project. Every project needs a solid foundation on which to be built and Soil Surveys have been providing geotechnical services to do just that for over 45 years.
