GABBA Soil Surveys were responsible for the geotechnical investigation and construction inspections on the major redevelopment of this Queensland Icon. Works stretched from 1997 to 2007 and required the drilling of a dozen boreholes to depths of up to 15m. Soil samples and rock cores were taken to establish the subsurface profile to provide the structural designers the information required to bed all the stadium structures onto a solid foundation.
