NIGHT SHIFT AT THE UNI
Soil Surveys have been involved in some construction work at a Brisbane Uni recently. The footing layout meant temporary dowel and shotcrete support needed to be installed at night to avoid conflicting with exams. Here, an excavator mounted drill rig is installing SSE marked, 6m long dowels through an uncontrolled fill coated steep embankment in a fairly tight location.
